Supported browsers

Attensi simulations can be played in all modern browsers, such as Google Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge. 64-bit is required for all browsers, and they should be updated to the latest version.

For more detailed information on what browsers are supported for the specific Attensi simulations or products, please see the "WebGL" section in the minimal technical specifications.

Troubleshooting WebGL issues

Most issues within webpages, such as WebGL errors (errors playing in browser), can be resolved by clearing your browser data. It is different for different browsers but here are instructions on how to do this in Google Chrome.

If you are getting the error "Your browser does not support WebGL" then you will have to enable it. You may need help from your IT in order to do this, but you can try following these instructions for Chrome, which are similar for other browsers:

Enable WebGL (Google Chrome)

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Type chrome://settings in the address bar.
  3. Scroll down and click “Advanced”.
  4. Ensure that "Use hardware acceleration when available" is enabled.
  5. Type chrome://flags in the address bar.
  6. Select "Enable" next to "Webgl 2.0 Compute".
  7. Click “Relaunch Now”.

You should also check your Display Adapter drivers are not disabled.

  1. Open your Device Manager (right-click on the Windows button).
  2. Find "display adapters".
  3. Make sure they are not disabled.
  4. Check for automatic updates and make sure the driver is up to date.

If you are unsure how to navigate to Device Manager or are unable to, you may need to contact your IT administrator to have them do this for you.

Troubleshoot issues with Attensi Launcher

If you are having problems installing Attensi Launcher or downloading a simulation, read on to learn how to troubleshoot some of the most common issues and possible solutions.

Download is not starting

  • Check that you have Attensi Launcher installed. You may need IT privileges such as administrator rights on your computer to install Attensi Launcher.
  • Check that Attensi Launcher is not blocked. Make sure Attensi Launcher is not blocked by any security policy or similar programs. Ask your local IT to ensure this is not the case.
  • If you are playing on a Windows PC, try re-installing Attensi Launcher. See this article for instructions: Uninstall or remove apps and programs in Windows (microsoft.com).

Download is slow

  • Check that you have a stable internet connection. The first time you download the simulation it may take some time, as you are downloading all the files needed to start the simulation. After the first download, it should start much faster, unless the simulation has been updated and needs to download additional files.

Download stopped or was aborted

  • Check that you have a stable internet connection, and re-start the download. If you lose internet connection mid-download, you need to cancel the download, ensure that you have a stable internet connection and start again.
  • Check that your connection does not have limited speed. Some connections may have limits on bandwidth speed. We recommend using the following connection types:
    • PC: Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi when downloading the simulation.
    • Mobile: Wi-Fi instead of LTE data when downloading the simulation.

I'm getting an error code; what does it mean?
